WOVEN LIGHTS

with ALISSA + NIENKE

When I was an intern at the studio of Alissa and Nienke, Alissa+Nienke, in Eindhoven, I worked on several ways to create multi-faceted patterns. The goal was to use these research to create a lamp that will have a different look if the light is on or off. We decided to use laser cutted porcelain paper and the technique of weaving to make them.

The prototypes were shown during Dutch Design Week in 2016. You can now find the lamp on Alissa+Nienke website.
